Fred Roger Foley

Fred Roger Foley, 81, passed away on February 16, 2024 in Indianapolis, IN. Fred was born March 30, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the to the late Linnie and Mary (Wickersham) Foley. He was a resident of New Richmond, Ohio, the 1960 Valedictorian of Bethel-Tate High School, continuing his education in a machinists training program at the Cincinnati Milling Machine Company. At the end of his working career, Fred retired from Siemens Energy and Automation. Fred was very involved in his daughter’s after school sports, even coaching for the soccer team for two years. After his children graduated from college, he picked up kayaking. Later in life, his hobbies mainly included working out at the gym and doing Sudoku puzzles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy, and his brothers, Everett and Danny Foley. Fred is survived by his daughters Angela (Jim) Clute and Dorothy (Leslie) Foley; grandson Austin Clute; and siblings Debbie (Mike) Watkins, Mike, Ken, Gary and Tim Foley. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Spring Grove Funeral Home Elden Good, 2620 Erie Ave Cincinnati, OH 45208 from 10AM to 11AM with a service to follow. Fred will be placed at Watkins Hill Cemetery.
