He was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
His father, Earl Calvin McClain, mother, Queen Pulliam preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Elvon P. McClain, step- daughters, Vontella Bass, Ronda Taylor, Keyona Taylor, brother, Kelvin McClain, sister, Edna McClain, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Friday, January 16, 2015, 10am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
