A man of quiet passion and deep devotion to his family, George’s greatest pride and joy in life were his twin daughters, Zoe and Magdalene. They were truly his whole world, and he was their most passionate supporter, immensely proud of the extraordinary young women they are.
He cherished all family time. He particularly enjoyed being able to spend quality time with his nephews, Cade and Elijah.
George found an essential outlet for his spirit in the arts. He loved creative writing and was born with a gift for drawing, skills that allowed him to explore and share his imaginative nature.
For many years, George was a dedicated employee of FedEx. He was a true "jack of all trades," known for his versatility, his willingness to tackle any task, and his fun and silly personality that brought joy and laughter to his colleagues. More than a workplace, FedEx became a second home where he treasured his coworkers, whom he sincerely considered to be family.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Zoe and Magdalene Koukouris; his devoted parents, Susie and Christodoulos Koukouris of Indianapolis; and his sister Maria Johnson, and her husband, Ernest Johnson; and his nephews, Cade Franklin and Elijah Johnson. He will be deeply missed by his FedEx family and friends.
A celebration of George's life will be held privately with family.
