He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda J. Layman of Indianapolis, Stepdaughters; Lisa Rosado of Indianapolis, Dion Missy (Mark) Taylor of Indianapolis. Stepsons; Duane Kuehl or Valparaiso, Indiana and David Kuehl of Lacrosse, Indiana. Gerald had 11 Grandchildren; Rachel Buckmaster (Cory) of Wheatfield, Indiana, Brandon Kuehl (Lindsey) of Hebron, Indiana, Megan Laws (Jacob) of Lexington, North Carolina, Walter Huber (Marcella) of Plainfield, Indiana, Lauren Huber of Indianapolis, Indiana, Taylor and Joey Kuehl of Lacrosse, Indiana, Tiffany Kuehl of Valparaiso, Indiana, Mark, Abigail and Rose Taylor of Greenwood, Indiana. Gerald had also 10 great grandchildren; Jared and Carmen Rosado of Wheatfield, Indiana, Quinton Buckmaster of Wheatfield, Indiana, Skylynn Kuehl of Hebron, Indiana, Kaylee, Caleb, Carson, Kennedy Laws of Lexington, North Carolina, Anna Jones and Juniper Huber both of Plainfield, Indiana. Brothers; Stan Layman (Gloria), Jeff Layman, both of Logansport, Indiana and Mike Layman of Niles, Michigan. Gerald was preceded in death by is parents Gerald G. Layman and Betty Crowder Layman
A gathering of family and friends for Gerald is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18th at Liberty Baptist Church , 10450 E. County Road 450 North, Indianapolis, Indiana 46234 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. His celebration of life service will begin imminently following his gathering beginning at 12:00 PM. Gerald's place of rest will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6809 S. Indianapolis Avenue, Whitestown, Indiana 46075 after services.
