Constable Gerald Young Passed away peacefully on July 21, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood.He was born in Indianapolis to the late Denzel and Virginia Young. Jerry graduated from Indiana University. He was a retired sergeant with IPD after 29 yrs. of service. He was a member of the Columbia Club, Eagles, American Legion, Antelope Club and the Franklin Twp. GOP Club. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Theresa, two daughters; Shannon (David) Davis, Kelly (Chris) Thrasher, brother John Karres sisters; Myrtle Angel, Linda Shannahan and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers; Ronald and Mike Young and his sister Karen Gilbert. Friends may call on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 3-8 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:00 am at Holy Name Catholic Church, Beech Grove, IN.
