Giuditta DeMarco, 89, of Greenfield, Indiana formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Giuditta was born February 3, 1930 in Cavasso Nuovo, Italy, to the late Lidovina Zamprogno Bortoli and Giuseppe Bortoli. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Giacinto DeMarco and Ruggero Pessa. In addition to raising her children, she also worked at several part-time jobs that included North Central High School and Wyandotte Elementary School cafeterias. She was proud to be a part of the Italian community and loved flowers, cooking, and her family. She never needed a recipe and cherished children, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Giuditta is survived by her children, Ida Taylor, Carla Cross, and Johnny (Heidi) DeMarco; sister, Louise Fransceschina; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Dr., Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. She will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Indianapolis, Indiana.
