Of Kokomo
Passed away on March 1, 2013 at her residence.
Glynn M. Stitts Gold was born on November 16, 1949 the daughter of W.C. Stitts and Emma L. Stitts in Hickory Valley, Tennessee.
She was employed as an assembler at Delco Electronics, retiring after 22 years of service. She was a member of Mt Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, Princess Kokoma Temple #1163, Local #292 and the Delco Uniques softball team in Kokomo. She was an avid bowler; she loved to read especially the bible. She was a 1968 graduate of Kokomo High School and attended Ivy Technical Institute, majoring in business administration.
She was preceded in death by her father, W.C. Stitts and one daughter, Bridggett Stitts
She is survived by her mother, Emma L. Stitts of Kokomo, step son, Jonte’ Gold (Shanea) of Kansas City, MO, brothers, William Charles Stitts (Ginny) of Kokomo, Walter Carl Stitts of Kokomo, grandchildren, Trenton Stitts, Brycen Morgan and Jalen Gold.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Lupus Foundation.
Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013, 12 Noon at Mt Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Lonnie Anderson will be the officiant and eulogist. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden. Services entrusted to Bluitt & Son Funeral Home.
