Max was educated in the Indianapolis Public School system in which she excelled in all of her studies. To all that loved Maxine knew while her first name was Grace preferred to be called "Maxine" and would quickly correct you immediately if you forgot.
Maxine was married to Allen White until his death. Maxine worked as a supervisor at the Finance Center where she was respected by all that worked with her until she retired.
Maxine's first passion was to travel and even had a trip planned to Niagara Falls later this month with her traveling buddies, whom she affectionally loved. Max spoke of them often. She also enjoyed bowling and going to the Indiana Fever games with her sister Pamela and another friend, as she was a seasoned ticket holder for many years. Maxine talked daily to Shannon and they planned many weekly tasks together, they were a team. Kenton would pull up the rear filling in where ever and when needed for his sisters never complaining. Always supplying an abundance of jokes, kisses, and hugs when in their presents.
Max as she was fondly called by those who loved her, Maxine's phone rung continually from friends and family calling to talk to her. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends for holidays and other family events. Cooking and planning fun games for everyone to participate and engage in.
Romans 10:9 If you declare that Jesus is Lord, and believe that God brought him back to life, you will be saved. Max was an active member of Scott United Methodist Church working in the kitchen to cook dinners.
To say Maxine will be greatly missed is an understatement. She leaves two sisters Pamela and Shannon, and one brother Kenton, Gregory who preceded her in death, and a host of many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. To repeat what Shannon said "Maxine we miss you, yes we do" you were the jewel in our family.
