Gregory Joseph “Greg” Cohoat, 31, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017. He was born in Big Rapids, MI on September 10, 1986. Greg graduated from Cathedral High School in 2005 and completed his Bachelor of Science Degree at IUPUI. He was proud to be a member of MENSA and loved military history. He also loved water and was a competitive swimmer since age 9. He still holds the 500 record at Cathedral, swam across the Ohio River, and loved to swim across Silver Lake.
He is preceded in passing by his grandparents, John and Mary Cohoat and William and Becky McCallister.
Greg is survived by his parents, Vince and Terry Cohoat; siblings, Chris Cohoat (Marina), Cathy Cohoat (fiancé, Matt), and Michael Cohoat (fiancé, Carrie); and many close and loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members
Private family services will be held. The family kindly asks that no flowers be sent, in lieu of flowers please contribute in Greg’s memory to the American Cancer Society or Cathedral High School. Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements.
