83, of Indianapolis, departed this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Helen was Senior Vice President of University State Bank in Houston, TX for 30 years, retiring in 1985. She was preceded in death by her husband: John H. McCarthy and her parents: James B. and T. Estelle (Williams) Bowen. Helen is survived by her daughter: Janet (Cort) Gillett. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 10, at 2:00 pm in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to St. Vincent Hospice or the Salvation Army.
