Helen Ann Ritter

Helen Ann Ritter, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Franciscan Hospice House surrounded by her family. Helen was born in Indianapolis to the late Henry and Clara (Mayer) Ritter. She was preceded in death by her older siblings Joe Ritter and Romilda Bertram. Helen is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Neuman, Therese Starks, and Mary Weingardt. Helen was a devoted Aunt to four generations. Those 155 nieces and nephews will miss her loving, cheerful presence. A member of the Sacred Heart Class of 1957, Helen touched the lives of her church community, social groups, and neighbors. Even in her final days, Helen's sweet smile affected all those who cared for her. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St., Indianapolis, IN 46225. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
