61, Indianapolis, passed away March 4, 2014 at his home. He was born March 12, 1952 in Martin, Kentucky. He graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School. In pursuit of higher education, Hiram graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio and earned his nursing degree from J. Everett Light, School of Practical Nursing. Throughout his career he was employed by American Village, The Forum at the Crossing and Dunkin Donuts while living in Indianapolis.
Hiram was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Dora Elam; sister, Ann; and his loving partner, Glenn Holden.
He is survived by his sister, Katie Wesley Ward (Robert) of Grove City, Ohio; brother, Stephen O. Elam (Debbie) of Pickerington, Ohio; nephews, Troy H. Halle (Ratree) of St. Cloud, Florida and Stephen Cory Elam (Debbie) of Pickerington, Ohio; loving pets, Teddy and Rescue.
