61, of Westfield, IN departed this life Thursday, September 2, 2010. Jimmy was born August 16, 1949 in Indianapolis to Bernard E. and Betty Jean (Campton) Erickson. He proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Jimmy loved the outdoors and always enjoyed fishing and hiking. He was a loving brother who valued his family, a smile and a good cup of coffee. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Rick Willis. He is survived by his siblings, Ronald D. (Marsha K.) Erickson, Marcia A. (Craig) Erickson-Shumaker, John E. Erickson, Jennifer L. Erickson, Michelle L. Erickson – Willis and Denise K. (Geoff) Erickson – Kurker; eleven nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews, and all the Hans Erickson clan and Campton family from New Castle, Indiana to Denmark. Visitation for Jimmy will be from 5 – 7 PM Friday, September 10th in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM.
