

73, of Speedway, departed this life at home on Thursday, February 25, 2016. He was born September 7, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late James E. and Nancy E. (Feltner) Woodlock. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War with the Indiana National Guard, serving with the 38th Division – Aviation Battalion. He worked for Trans World Airlines for over 47 years. James was a very active man, he was a member of Speedway Christian Church, Speedway Masonic Lodge #729 and a Shriner, Speedway Moose Lodge, Speedway Lion’s Club, The Speedway School Board for 16 years, The Speedway Cable Commission, and worked at The Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 52 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marcia. Jim is survived by his loving and dedicated family, children; Theresa Kaye (Jim Bob) Robertson, James Patrick (Bonnie) Woodlock Jr., Michael Shawn (Rikki Lyn) Woodlock, and Timothy Edward (Jennifer) Woodlock; his brother, Jack Edward Woodlock; his grandchildren, Rachel, Austin (Laura), Kayelynn, Brett, Dawson, Zachary, Logan, Hunter, Corbin and Chris; and great grandchildren, Curtis, Jordan, Jesse and Faith. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28th from 2-6 pm and Monday, February 29th from 10 am until the time of service at 11am at Family Funeral Care (5791 Rockville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46224).
