Jeffrey’s career was defined by creativity and vision. He was responsible for creating the visual displays for Simon malls across the country, earning numerous awards for his innovative work. Later, he founded his own company, Motif, through which he designed and produced outstanding events in both Indianapolis and West Palm Beach, Florida.
He is survived by his spouse of 49 years, Stephen Hearell; his brother, Paul Cross; and his cousin, Carol Koch, all of Missouri and Debbie Cross of Arizona.
Jeffrey was known for his wit and unique outlook on life. He didn’t just see the glass half full—he saw it half full with a leak. His humor, artistry, and perspective will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
