Jerome Vernon Hill 49 Of Kokomo Passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010, 9:42 A.M. at his residence. Jerome Vernon Hill was born on November 4, 1961 the son of Jessie J. Hill, Jr. and Wilma Louise Ray Hill in Peru, Indiana. He served in the United States Army Reserve. He was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church where he served in the Youth Choir (former director), vacation bible school, attended the Baptist District Youth convention and participated in the district & state conventions. He was preceded in death by one brother, Alfonzo Vinson Hill. He is survived by his daughters, Jasmine Hill of New Orleans, LA, Shawntrease Hill of Norcross, GA, Tabatha Hill of Lawrenceville, GA, mother, Wilma Louise Hill, father, Jessie J. Hill, Jr., sister, Linda Vanessa Hill of Atlanta, Georgia, brother, Anthony Van Hill of Charlotte, North Carolina, mother, three grandchildren, godson, Kishom Bernell Tyler, goddaughter, Larina Ree Ann Tyler, best friends, Lee Ann Tyler and Bryan Hall. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, 11 A.M. at Second Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Robert A. Lee is the officiant and eulogist and on Saturday, November 20, 2010, 12 Noon at A.E. Grier & Sons Funeral Home, Charlotte, North Carolina. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 9 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial at York Memorial Cemetery, Charlotte, North Carolina.
