 Obituario de JoAnn Marie Melloh
JoAnn Marie Melloh, age 74, passed away on December 29, 2020 with her husband holding her hand. Jo was born August 13, 1946 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Leo and Alice Oleska. She worked many years first as a dental assistant then as a nurse in geriatrics and home health. She loved ballroom dancing, shooting with her gun club and Grandson. She loved for everything to sparkle and shine. If you knew her then you know she never passed up the chance to tell a good joke, put on a ballgown, go to the casino and most of all the chance to help someone in need. She truly enjoyed helping others. A member of Nativity Catholic Church. At one time served with the Nativity ladies club and was President of La Sertoma service club. Most recently volunteered daily at the Hope Center. She was the brightest star in the sky and the sparkle in the room. She was devoted to her family as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She approached life with style and class. She made an impact on any person blessed enough to have met her. Survivors include husband Art Melloh; children, Tina (Chuck) Stephens, Amy (John) Kitley, Tara Spencer, Paul (Alician) Melloh, David Melloh; grandchildren, Brittany (Scott) Howe, Neil Rhoades, Ryan (Taylor) Rhoades, Bryson Adams, Elayna Melloh, Patrick Adams, Ainsley Spencer and Joely Adams; great grandchildren Harper Rhoades and Tatum Rhoades; dogs Louis and Emma. Jo, Mom, Grandma, You are loved by so many people. You will be so deeply missed, you have a piece of each one of us with you. Until we are able to see you again. We love you. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11 am at Nativity Catholic Church. The service will be lived streamed at Nativityindy.org. Social distance and face mask will be required. Burial will follow at Orchard Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers (or diamonds) please make donations to the Hope Center Indy, P.O. Box 29063, Indianapolis, IN 46229 or you can go to Hopecenterindy.org with notation in memory of Jo Melloh.
