Joella Rae Barrett

Joella Rae Barrett, age 31, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. Joella was born May 10, 1990 to Tammie Barrett and Joseph Barrett. Joella had a big heart but would give you a hard time when needed. This was especially true for her brother's who she always looked out for. She also enjoyed being with her family and friends. Joella is survived by her son, Landon Anthony Norris; mother, Tammie Barrett; father, Joseph Barrett; grandfather, Michael David Long; grandmother, Stella LaRae Hayes; brothers, Derrek Pemberton and Dusten Barrett; nephews, Dallas Pemberton, Dusten Michael Barrett Jr, and Michael Lee Barrett; niece, Audrey Nicole Barrett; uncle, Rob Barrett; cousins, Morgan Petty, Robbie Petty, and Brody Long, step-father: Darren Pemberton and sister: Brittany Wilson. Joella was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Patty Buchanan and Luanne Long; uncle Tim Long; and aunt, Lisa Petty. A memorial gathering for Joella will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224, followed by a celebration of life at 6:00 PM.
