John Allen Gibson

John Allen Gibson, age 74, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. John was born on June 7, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Gilbert and Mary Ellen Gibson. He graduated from DePauw University in 1968. John married Ann Bennett on June 14, 1975. John was a sales representative at GE for many years. He was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. John enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ann Gibson; children, Matthew (Kate) Gibson and Michael (Kristyn) Gibson; grandchildren, Anna Gibson, Conor Gibson, Gabriel Gibson, Maeve Gibson and James Gibson; and siblings, Tom Gibson, Jim Gibson and Nancy Prowitt. John was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Gibson and Mary Ellen Gibson; and brother, Bob Gibson. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory may be made by mail to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601. A Celebration of Life service will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Feeney Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
