John Huddle, a devoted father, grandfather, fiancé and friend, passed away on January 13 with his two loving daughters by his side. He attended The Orchard School and Broad Ripple High School and enjoyed staying in contact with his classmates and childhood friends. He loved nature and the outdoors and he passed this love onto his children and grandchildren. In his later years he shared innumerable memories of joy with his fiancée Bernie Harris.
Kindness and humor were the hallmarks of John’s personality. He will be lovingly remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his lighthearted pranks, his boundless kindness, and his ability to make others smile. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us as we mourn the loss of such a free spirit.
He is survived by his fiancée Bernie Harris, his oldest daughter Jennifer Fulton, his youngest daughter Margo Vallone, his former spouse Mary Beth Huddle, his son-in-laws Jonathan Fulton and Joseph Vallone, his two grandsons Michael "Tug" Monroe and Henry Fulton, and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John R. Huddle, MD and Barbara Huddle, and his two sisters Margo Huddle and Deborah Huddle.
Services will be held at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11 am.
The family would like to invite everyone to join us for a meal immediately following the funeral service at the Northside Events & Social Club (Knights of Columbus). This will be a time to come together, share memories, and find comfort in each other’s presence. Thank you for being a part of this Celebration of Life and all of your support during this difficult time.
