John J. Kirch

John J. Kirch passed away on July 6, 2021 in Carmel, Indiana. John was born in Beech Grove Indiana to John and Alma (Scherrer) Kirch on August 27, 1939. He went to school in Indianapolis graduating from Cathedral High School. He married Lucinda (Ellis) on January 16, 1970 in Carmel. He worked for Richman Brothers Clothing before joining Paul Revere Insurance Company in 1972, then starting his own company Kirch Insurance Services. John served in the Army and was stationed in Germany.

John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Alma, brother, David (Gwen), and sister Shirley McElhiney (Bob)

John is survived by his wife Lucinda, children Kelly Johannes (Paul Marks), David Kirch (Mimi Haan), sister Alma Holloran (John), and 7 grandchildren, Alexia Johannes (Damon Pace), Christopher Johannes (Shan Sherwan), Kaitlyn Gray (Richard), Nicholas Johannes, Vera Alexandra Kirch, Olivia Kirch (Dylan Lisec), Austin Kirch and great granddaughter Aubrey Gray who brought him so much joy, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to The Salvation Army. The family wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to the nurses and staff of Carmel Health and Living Community. .
