55, of Indianapolis, passed away October 1, 2014. He was born March 20, 1959 in Aurora, CO to CMSgt Robert M. Montoya and Inez L. Maes. He graduated in 1977 from Santa Rita HS, Tucson, AZ, and served in the US Air Force. He worked at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church as its maintenance technician. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. John is survived by his sons John E. Montoya Jr. & Robert A. Montoya (Angela), mother Inez L. Maes & step-father Joseph A. Maes, and sister Bobbie J. Montoya. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday October 14 at 12 pm at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, October 13 from 4 – 8 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. John was well-loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.
