Josephine graduated from Shortridge High School and Hanover College and was an active member of the Presbyterian Church, she devoted herself to numerous community charities and was known for her love of reading.
Josephine loved spending time with her 12 grandchildren and had 19 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by Charles J. Randa and Charles E. Shanafelt.
Josephine is survived by her sister Cynthia Robinson (Bob), brother Arthur Pittenger (Judy) and four children Jeff Randa (Nancy), Ginny Roberts (Don), Lisa Kaminski (Mark), and Cindy Armitage (Jeff).
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 12-2pm, with the funeral service beginning at 2pm. A private family burial will follow the service.
