I was so sorry to hear of Kathy's death; I know it was a battle for her.  I was blessed to have known Kathy through our workplace; she was a lovely young lady and always carried such a big smile.  May God continually comfort you all as you suffer such a great loss.

Miss Kathy I am so sorry to hear of your passing. You were one of my favorite reasons to come to the front office. You were always willing to help me with the best attitude and smile. Your undercover humor was my favorite part about you. Sometimes you would walk away and think, “I think she just made fun of me”. Your kind soul will be deeply missed on this physical earth, but I’m sure it will be enjoyed by so many on your heavenly one. Rest Easy Miss Kathy. 

Kathy was a beautiful person and her faith in these hard times was an inspiration.  She always had a positive attitude no matter how bad she felt. 
I could always depend on Kath to help me get my job done as quickly as possible and she always had my back.   We were a good team.  Although I didn't see her  often since I retired from IEMS, it was always a blessing.  Rest in peace dear friend.

Miss you Kathy,  you made office life fun, I  have many memories of the jokes we played on each other.  Hope you are at peace my friend.

There are no words that can convey my condolences or accurately depict your beauty as a person. There is no replacement for your commitment to being a better person each day, for God. Your empathy and desire to help improve others lives will be missed. You  will be surely missed, your thoughtfulness and kindness to others will be missed. Your encouraging words will continue echo...your laughter will be missed. Most of all you will be missed! I pray that God will strengthen your family and dear friends; strength and courage to endure, this episode in our lives of adjusting and proceeding without you as a important part of our lives, this is the greatest absence of all is living without you  in it. Always cheerful!

She was a dedicated public servant supporting public safety "behind the scene" - quiet work that many may never know about -but she helped us all.

And so Brave. To battle cancer so hard and to chose not to spend the years dying but to spend them Living!

Kathy and I've known each other through work for nearly 20 years. We usually started talking about something work related and then would often go off on a tangent. I will forever remember her being sweet, always having a smile on her face when I saw her and a kind word to share. Kathy will be sadly missed by many! My thoughts and prayers are with her family! May Kathy rest peacefully in Heaven!! 

What can I say about Kathy. She always greeted everyone with a smile, no matter how much she hurt inside. To me, I always felt like if I came to her for help, at that time, I was the most important person in her life.  She never said I can’t help you, and always found a way.  She never saw color, sex, or beliefs, but just accepted everyone as part of her extended family. This world has lost a gem, which can’t be replaced. May she Rest In Peace, and suffer no longer. Thank you Lord for sharing her with us!

I loved Kathy!  When we first met at church we just automatically became friends.  She and I shared our experiences we had with breast cancer and helped each other pull through some very difficult experiences.  Kathy was never a complainer even when she was going through some difficult moments.  We made it a point to meet at least once a month for lunch or dinner.  We would talk and laugh about so many different things.  We would always scramble  to be the first to pay the waiter!  Kathy loved her family and we would share our experiences with our kids especially the Girls!!!  We texted each other at least twice a week if we did not talk.  I would make it a point when I cooked to see if she wanted  me to bring her a plate.  We last texted each other the Tuesday before she went Heaven.  She told me “I Love You  My Friend”.  I Love You Too Kathy and I will miss you and your courageous smile and your loving and kind spirit.  GOD BLESS THE FAMILY

I worked with Kathy she was an absolutely loving person. She loved the fact that we had birthdays in the same month and were Virgo’s. She always told me about her family and about Smokey and how much she loved you all. Hearing about the trips with the church and how much she loved God. You always knew when you had pushed her button because her favorite line was “You have a nice day now” She was always fun to pull pranks on. I loved her for the person and friend she was. I will miss her deeply and the special discussions about God and family we  we shared.
