

61, of Indianapolis IN, passed away suddenly on Thursday April 27, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Keith was born on April 6th 1956 in Amo, IN. He is the son of Mary Elizabeth (McCollum) and Herbert Lee Greeson. He married Linda Rudat on October 24, 1992.
Mr. Greeson was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kevin and daughter Jennifer Lynn Rudat.
Mr. Greeson is survived by his brother Kelly (Jennifer) of Amo, his sister Karen (Robert, deceased) Boiling of Avon; son Lucas E. Greeson of FL, children Trent (Lisa) Rudat of Danville, IN, Troy Rudat of Indianapolis and Julle Rudat Dohme (Darren) of Broadlands, IL; grandchildren Jessica (James) Rinker, Kale Rudat, Caroline Dohme, Jacob Dohme, Dylan Dohme and Elaina Rudat; nieces and nephews Nicholas & Cassandra Greeson, Eric & Ella Boiling.
Mr. Greeson was raised & baptized in the Baptist Church of Amo. He started working for neighbors on their farms at a young age and never shied away from hard work. He graduated from Cascade High School in 1974. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Army where he served until honorably discharged. Mr. Greeson worked for the former Indianapolis Weirco Airport (now Indianapolis International Airport) as the head of their shipping and receiving for the maintenance division retiring from there after 20 years.
Mr. Greeson was an avid fisherman & outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing from his dock, working in his yard and helping at his son in laws farm during every visit. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and Peyton Manning fan. He was an exceptional cook, enjoyed doing puzzles and loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. Mr. Greeson overcame lung cancer twice and most recently an inoperable brain tumor. His family credited his strong will and positive attitude with helping to overcome the cancer.
Visitation will be Thursday May 4th 10-11 AM for his family; the public is invited 11 AM – 1 PM with a remembrance of life & prayer service at 1 PM at the Family Care Center 5791 Rockville Road Indianapolis, IN. Mr. Greeson will be laid to rest in Amo Cemetery immediately following services where military honors will be accorded.
