Kenneth Wayne Okey

Kenny Okey, of Indianapolis IN died at the age of 69 years old on Sunday August 20, 2023 surrounded by his family and friends at home. Kenny was born in Indianapolis on July 10, 1954 to Iva and Bob.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Okey, his four children Kimberly (Ray) Marlow, Kyle (Susan) Okey, Elizabeth (Thomas) Graham, and Levi (Erica) Okey. Papaw is also survived by his 13 grandchildren Kendra (Kegan) Smith, Tristen (Bailey) Marlow, Rayden (Karli) Marlow, Dakotah (Linda) Graham, Mailey Marlow, Donavan Okey, Kaydence Wyatt, Brooklynn Wyatt, Kallie Okey, Khloie Graham, Collins Okey, Elwood Okey, and Oliver Okey. His 2 great-grandchildren Kenzie and Kaiden Smith as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his 7 siblings.

Kenny was a jack of many trades and a master of none. Kenny in his prime was a avid fisherman competing in the Indiana Bass Association tournaments. Kenny was also a Certified Master Rescue Diver, and taught many students in Scuba diving. Kenny was also an avid Bowler participating in many leagues at Western Bowl. He enjoyed camping and was the biggest Dale Earnhardt Sr fan. Kenny was a loved Husband, Father, and Papaw. He will be missed.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224.
