86, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Sunday March 6, 2011. She was born in Rezekne, Latvia, November 11, 1924, the daughter of Antons and Marija Stirans Purmalis. Klementine was a member of the Latvian Catholic Society and Latvian Community Center, having actively volunteered for many events. She is the widow of Vladislavs Zire on September 1, 1985. She is survived by her daughter Renate Zire (Andrew) Ratermann and grandson Davis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 11 at 11 am in St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220, with visitation from 10 – 11 at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions will be accepted for the Catholic Church in Rezekne, Latvia, and the children’s orphanage in Liepaja, Latvia, in care of the family.
