

Larry was born and raised in Indianapolis. He lived in Indiana his entire life. He attended grade school in the Christian Park area and graduated from the Thomas Carr Howe High School He earned an associated degree in Computer Science from Purdue University. He had a long career in data processing for credit unions all across the U.S. He rose through the ranks to achieve directorship and manager positions for many years. He survived numerous cuts throughout multiple buyouts by companies over the years because of his quality work and ethics. He was beloved by his co-workers, many of whom still stayed in touch.
Larry loved his family very much. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh that everyone loved. He loved get-togethers and having a good time. He was known for dressing in some great costumes for parties, and he especially enjoyed dress-up sessions with and for his granddaughter, Braelyn.
Larry and his wife, Cathy, loved to travel. The enjoyed close to 40 cruises (ocean and river cruises). They also traveled to almost every state in the U.S. together. In recent years they also traveled to about 15 European countries.
Larry had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He attended and served in churches they were members of faithfully. He loved helping and serving others. He could problem solve and take apart and fix just about anything. He was great at researching and analyzation. He had a great mind and heart. Larry also loved sports and enjoyed a friendly rivalry with his sons - P.U. vs I.U. He loved and was good at playing pickleball and golf.
Larry is survived by his wife, Cathy; children, Zac (Briana), Erin, Joe (Jenny), and Ann (Barry Jr.); grandchildren, Landon, Jordan, and Braelyn; brothers, Harold G. and Alvin G (Marcia) and many other family members and friends.
Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
