

Born March 17, 1919, passed away peacefully on June 15 in Venice, Florida. Leo spent many years as a self-employed auto mechanic in Broad Ripple and worked at Allison Division of General Motors in Speedway for many years.
While in Oklahoma, his granddaughter, Leann, who pre-deceased him in 2006, and her son Jacob, lived with him and they took care of one another.
He is survived by sons, Leo Patrick (“Pat”) Allison, Jr. (Barbara) and Donal Ray Allison (Arlene); grandchildren, Leo P. “Lee” Allison, III (Judie), Lance Allison, Lora Jackson (Bill), Lyne MacMahon (Steve) , Lisa McDowell (Steven), Susan Allison-Diaz (Alex) and Donnie Williams (Ivette); great grandchildren Aaron and Michael Allison, Julee Allison Hudson, Jacob Miller, Samantha and Wade Allison, William and Kraig Jackson and Raphael Williams; and great-great-grandchildren Rhyan and Christopher Allison and Olivia Weintraut. Also surviving are his niece Sherry McCorkell, nephew Larry Sullivan, and cousins Jack Smiph and Donna Bruce.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, June 23, 2014, at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 East 71st Street, Indianapolis, IN, with calling beginning at 10:30 am.
