He was a member of Mt. Zion First Freewill Baptist Church and had been a Laborer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie J. Hampton and Florence Hampton and daughter, Florence House and siblings: Bennie E. Hampton, Ike Weaver and Lvetta Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Bishop Larry J. Hampton, Sr. and Garry L. Hampton.
His visitation is Wednesday, November 18, 2015, 10am - 12pm, with the Homegoing Service at 12pm in Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church. The burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
