Louise Hollingsworth went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 10, 2020 at the age of 70
years old.
She was born in Drew, Mississippi on July 5, 1949 to HC Hollingsworth and Annie
Laura Nelson (Ellis).
Her education was received in the Chicago, Illinois school district and later
she moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to start her family and career.
She was blessed to retire in 2011, from GSF Safeway in her role with the housekeeping department. After retirement, she spent 18 years as an usher at her beloved church home, Greater New Life Family Worship
Center.
She enjoyed shopping, walking for exercise, and spending time with her family and
friends. She was a free spirited person with an impeccable gift to make everyone smile, laugh,
and feel incredibly welcomed at all times.
Louise had a heart of gold in its purest form and will truly be missed.
She leaves cherished memories to her two daughters, Theresa Hollingsworth and Maxine Dejournett, her 4 grandchildren; Brittany Starks, Rodney Smith, Trevon Turman, and Rai’Shae Smith, 3 great grandchildren;
Kiyen Baxter, Rae’Lyiah Smith, and King Rogers, and a host of siblings, family, and friends.
A celebration of her life will take place Friday, 12:00 pm, March 20, 2020, at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples' Chapel, 5252 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, with visitation from 10:00 am, until time of service at 12:00 pm, all taken place at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana.
