I did not know Lyric personally. I can only echo the wealth of love she brought to so many who knew her. As a parent who has experienced this similar journey, I pray for you all. I pray for comfort in the long nights ahead. I pray for God’s loving embrace to hold you when you weep. I pray the Lyric’s love forever brings light into your heart so that you may see clearly in the darkness. Finally, I remind you that it is okay if your journey takes you through highs and lows. Know that Lyrics legacy and dreams can be honored through all that you do.

Lyric was in my 5th grade class at indiana Math and Science Academy. She showed me a picture of her grandmother and I was like, girl you family! Aunt Tina and my mother grew up together so all the kids did. She smiled and I knew she was special. I pray for the family as she is no longer in pain and watches over her family. Two beautiful girls watching over their family!
