On June 20, 1959, Dave married his wife of 62 years, Kathleen Olivier McNulty. They raised six children, Tom (Jenny), Kevin (Mary), David (Tina), Patty, Tim (Erin), and Shannon (Trey) Everly, have 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous other family members. His sister, Patty Bindner, also survives.

Dave was a devout Catholic, enjoyed spending time with his family, took keen interest in whomever he was with, and had a fine sense of Irish humor. He will be missed!

Dave was a well loved figure in the lives of the St. E's nurses. He had a generous spirit, a side, infectious grin and was always ready to find a seat for you or drive, especially to the casino. He did have trouble holding a coffee cup, though. Rest in peace, Dave. You will be missed.

Kind, Good, Gracious Uncle Dave (as we were trained to address him), paid my grandson for hugs. As it happened, he did so in front of my son, who then asked for a crack at that game! Had to love him ... couldn't help it. Miss you a lot KGG Uncle Dave.

The Clarks, Meyers and McNultys are having quite a reunion !! As a fellow Irishman, Dave always loved calling me “Fogarty” .
No Irish gathering will seem the same!!
Bill and I send our condolences to your entire family. Love, Sally

My sincerest and deepest sympathies on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. I did not have the privilege of meeting Mr. McNulty in person, but I know he is all of the good and holy things described because I see those qualities in his son, Kevin. My prayers, and those of my family, are with you now and in the days to come. May all the good and funny memories shared with you over these days bring you comfort and joy as you celebrate and mourn the passing of an exceptional example of Christian love.

I always will remember my uncle, for the way he treated my children, when we swam in his pool, now David Jr's pool, for taking us to the Beria fair, and for his great sense of humor. And for being the father that he was! He raised some great children! I will miss him, and am glad he is no longer suffering! I will never forget you Uncle Dave! God bless you!!

Dear McNulty Family, sending you all my heartfelt condolences . I always enjoyed running into Dave at Cathedral events, St. Pius, and especially, on St. Patrick's Day at the parade and eventually having a beer or 2 at the Golden Ace ! Tom recently shared with me the honor he bestowed upon the McNulty family to have a plaque dedicated to all McNulty's that roamed the halls of CHS...what a kind and generous man ! Dave had the most pleasant smile and always shared a story or two. Please know that I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Kathy, Shannon and all of the McNulty clan,

So very sorry to hear of Dave's passing! Over the years, seeing Dave at weddings, funerals, at Palisades, etc. was always a treat. He always had funny stuff to say to me about both of our families, the McNultys' and the Dinnins'.
My wife and I live in Atlanta and will not be able to attend Dave's services. Please accept our condolences.
