Marguerite A. Shoemaker

94, beloved wife of Leon S. (Deceased), loving and patient mother of Margie (Tom) Greene, Bette Smith, Carole (Steve) Bull, Sandy Farley and Larry (Lisa) Shoemaker, completed her earthly mission February 2, 2011. She is now enfolded in the loving arms of her Friend and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born March 2, 1916 to Jacob V. and Margaret L. (Schauinger) Stout. In addition to her 5 children, she is cherished by 17 grandchildren: Mike (Melody) Greene, Bob (April) Greene, Laura (Neil) Wilkey, Jan Dollar, Jody (Mark) Nashold, Dan (Trice) Greene, Brian (Vanessa) Greene, Matt (Angie) Greene, John (Teresa) Greene, Erin Greene (fiancé-Justin Braun), Barry Greene, Chris (Angie) Teverbaugh, Amy (fiancé-Bob Gilbert), Teverbaugh, Jenny Mitchell, Chris Farley, Kurt (Jojo) Shoemaker and Kaitlin Shoemaker. She was also blessed with 29 great grandchildren. She endured many difficulties in her life, facing them with grace and dignity. She felt richly blessed by her home, family, Catholic faith, pets and the birds at her birdfeeders. She was proud to be a member of Little Flower Church for over 50 years. Calling will be Saturday, February 5th, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary and Monday, February 7th, one hour prior to Mass at Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 7th, at 11 am in Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will be in Logansport at a later date.
