Marian L. Ferguson

Marian attended IPS #56 and Crispus Attucks High School. Marian was an extremely loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Known to close family and friends as Marian, Sugie, and Sug, she enjoyed family, fishing, cooking, gardening, and music. She made a lasting impression on everyone with her sense of humor, carefree spirit, and wit.

Marian will always be remembered for her love of life and her willingness to provide comfort, advice, and a hug to family and friends.

Marian was a woman of faith, strength, and integrity. She joined and attended Light of the World Christian Church and was a faithful member for many years.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband, William, her sons, Fredrick and Randy, her daughter Gladys, her father Albert Patton Sr., her stepmother Gladys Pinner-Patton and brothers, Timothy, Dwight, and Albert Jr. Patton.

Marian's memory lives on through her son, Michael (Joyce); daughters, Gayle Ferguson Murphy, (Larry Sr.), and Pam Ferguson Watson; grandchildren, Shana Ferguson Readus, (Howard), Larry Murphy Jr., Brandi Watson Hubbard, (LaMont), Brittany Watson, Gale Watson, (Lydia), and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
