passed away on March 26 2015. She retired from Firestone after 35 years of service and later went on to work at Kohl's Department Store, where she worked for 10 years. She was a founding member who served over 60 years in various leadership roles at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Brian Brown (Lawanna Stott), two sisters, Genevieve Robinson, Zephra Manning, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of relatives, church family and many friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, Aoril 4, 2015 , 12 Noon at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church, 1202 Eugene Street. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 A.M. at the church. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
