85, of Indianapolis, passed away October 20, 2014. She was born May 27, 1929 in Indianapolis to Edwin and Florence (Cox) Smith. She was an accountant for Allstate Insurance for 15 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose Lodge #17. Marilyn is survived by her sons Michael (Linda) Shelton, Douglas (Janet) Shelton, sister Carolyn Frakes, 4 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Shelton, son Daniel Shelton, sister Jean Marth, brother Edwin Smith Jr. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
