

Mary Elizabeth Guynn the daughter of James and Emmaline Long was the fifth child and third daughter of nine children. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 25, 1930. Mary was baptized catholic and became a member of St. Rita Catholic church. On June 27, 1947 Mary was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Francis Guynn and to their union 15 children were born.Mary loved her church and had a strong faith in God and Our Blessed Mother. She loved to pray the Rosary and attended mass every Sunday.Mary was an entrepreneur, she owned and ran a daycare many years and was know as Grand Mommy to many children. Mary served as a faithful and active member of the Knights of Peter Claver, Ladies Auxiliary, Christ the King Court #97 from 1968 to 1984. She was a Greeter at St. Rita and a member of the Hospitality/Evangelization ministry.Mary enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home, on family outings and family reunions. Mary's warm smile and pleasant personality will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.Mary is preceded in death by her husband Robert Francis Guynn and sister Gladys McDade, Christine Williams, brothers Norman Long, Leroy Cash and George Long.Mary leaves to cherish her memories Charles (Mary), Henry (Deirdre), Peggy (Brad), Paul (Elizabeth), Lawrence (Darla), Alice, John (Diane), William, James (Debbie) , Frances, Peter, Mark, David (Torii), Majorie, Patrick (Lisa),siblings, Carol Sue Patton, Paul Long, David Long, 32 grandchildren, 31great grand children and a host of other relatives and friends
