80, of Indianapolis, passed away December 16, 2013. She was born October 21, 1933 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Earl and Ethel Ellis Flemming. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Mary is survived by her loving children Kathryn (Robert) Schlichte, Julie (John) Nagel, Joseph, James (Colleen), Robert (Christie), John (Michelle) Thomas Goebel, brother-in-law Jerome, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Goebel and daughter-in-law Susan Goebel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday December 21st at 1:00 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with visitation from 10:00 am until service time. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, Bishop Chatard High School, Little Sisters of the Poor or to The United Christmas Service.
