Mary Jane departed this life on January 15, 2012. She was a great lady who cared deeply for her very large family and her beloved Church. Mary Jane was born August 21, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to Dr. Joel and Julia (Fasenmeyer) Denman. She earned her BA in Art from Saint Mary University in 1941. In her earlier years, she was a designer for Hallmark cards and throughout all her years, she never failed to remember the important dates of each and every family member. While at Immaculate Heart, she often volunteered in the church office and helped organize the widows' group. Mary Jane also enjoyed helping others through Meals on Wheels. Mary Jane’s pride and joy was this large and energetic family she and her husband, Don, created and nurtured. Don preceded her in death in 1989 after 46 years of marriage.
