90, of Indianapolis died October 2, 2016. She was born February 17, 1926 in Holton, Indiana to Clarison and Lula Ward Carroll. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her sisters Agatha Carroll, Lois Smith, brothers Virgil Carroll, Robert Burtch, niece Linda Williams, and her infant son. Mary Elizabeth is survived by her nephews, Alan (Marilyn) Smith, Noel (Rhonda) Burtch, great nieces Kathy, Lacy, Amy, Lisa, Karissa, Danielle, great nephews Gayle, Douglas, Harrison, Ryan, Austin, great great niece Eisley, and step sons John Self and Tim Schicladanz. Visitation will be Thursday October 6 from 6 – 7:30 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be Friday, October 7 at 11 am at Hopewell Baptist Church in Holton, Indiana with visitation an hour before service. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery.
