

92, passed away on April 29, 2011. She was born in Avon, IN on September 20, 1918 to Walter Carter and Alice F. (Nelson) Mueller, who preceded her in death. She was Assistant Controller at the Indiana Employment Security Division for 46 years, retiring in 1984. She was awarded a Sagamore of the Wabash from Gov. Robert Orr.
Mary was a member of the Monument Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, Past President of the Indiana State Contest Club, Hospitality Chairman at Circle City Connection-Chapter 5528, a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Indianapolis Senior Citizen Center, RIPEA, IAPES, and the National Contester Association. She was an avid bridge and euchre player.
Mary is survived by her son, Michael Carter Slosarz. She was preceded in death by her husband Casimir Slosarz.
Visitation will be Monday, May 2, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 East 71st Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 3 at 10:00 am at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100
East 56th Street, with visitation at the church beginning at 9.:00 am. Interment will follow on Wednesday, May 4, at Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial tributes may be offered at www.feeneyhornakkeystone.com.
