He served in the Army National Guard. He worked at Nick and Mike Dental Lab in Indianapolis. Mike was an avid hunter and Harley Davidson rider.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gibson Whiteman; children, Harley Whiteman, Jerma Whiteman, Michele Stevens, Michael Whiteman II; mother, Thelma Stanfield; brothers, William, Scott and Kelly Whiteman and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Whiteman.
A celebration of life will be on Friday, September 6 at 4:00 p.m. in Family Funeral Care , 5791 Rockville Road, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
