Larry "Cecil" Bates 59, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday September 24, 2008. He was a member of Puritan Missionary Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his son Larry, Jr., his mother, Alene Bates and a sister, Freda Bates. He is survived by his wife Patricia Owens-Bates, father, Cecil Bates; daughters Anesia Bates, April Cosby and Tuesday House; sons, Demarco Lamont Owens and David Davis. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday October 1, 2008 in Puritan Missionary Baptist Church 872 W. 27th Street with visitation from 11:00 am. Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery.
