I feel that I have been blessed to have come into Stephen and Duane's lives.  I have fond memories of our bowling together these past few years.  I will certainly miss a great friendship with Stephen.  My heart and my prayers go out to Stephen and Duane's family members.

May God bless each and everyone of you through this time of sorrow. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I missed working with Stephen when he went to dayshift, he will be missed for a long time to come. God bless each of you.

It just hasnt been the same since Steve's passing, not seeing him come and go, or seeing him when the boys and I go into K-mart.  He has been around on and off my whole life, and since Steve and Duane have been back, I've enjoyed talking to them.  Duane, I will always be here if you ever need anything.....to cry, to talk, or to just have someone to sit with.  I am really going to miss seeing Steve outside, and my poor Reggie is going to miss him too.  Love ya guys!

I just found out about Mr. Blust's passing.  I was one of his many students during his tenure at Westview HS.  He holds a special place in my heart for being the very best kind of different and showing me that a sharp wit and mind are very important commodities in life.

Mr. Blust was one of the more interesting teachers that I had during my high school career.  He made learning the English Arts more interesting.  My fondest memory of him would be his direction of the play "The Makado", its was one of my favorites.  He will be missed.

I haven't seen Mr. Blust in almost 25 years, but I enjoyed him as an English teacher and will remember one moment in particular.  A troubled student had been expelled and was being ridiculed by other students in the class.  Mr. Blust got up and vehemently defended the absent student reminding all of us that there is good in every person and to keep our opinions to ourselves until we know the whole of a person.  Thank you for that lesson...

I met Stephen when i was 21, we was together 19.5 yrs, he was the love of my life and my best friend. Stephen i love and miss you, my heart is broke my mind is not right, but i know you are still here in spirt. i love you and am still in love with you, you was my life and my world.

I had Mr Blust for an english teacher at Westview back in 1993 I think it was, he was quite eccentric and some didn't understand his humor... oh but I did.  I got a real kick out of him,and he actually made me like some of that crazy stuff he made us learn.  I can still remember the first few lines to canterberry tales that he made us memorize in old english... He will truly be missed... my heart goes out to his family.

It's been 6.5 months and i am still trying to go on hard as it is, i love and miss you more then any one knows.i carried on with bowling, we came in 5th on the sunday league and am hopeing we can be 5th on the fri league, my mom is doing better and i hope to go see her soon,the dogs are doing good. i hope mom knows i love and miss her also.

would have been 20 yr tomorrow, and i and not handleing as good as i thought,i love and miss you so bad, i have my friends but no one can really understand what i am going through, you was my love,life and best friend, and now i still feel alone after all these months since you are gone.it is storming and you know how i am when that happens, but as you use to say i will be ok i will hold my pillow and think it is you to comfort me.

Mr. Blust was my English teacher in the early 90's; I loved his style of teaching so much I also took his drama class.  One of the 2 most influential teachers in my life; he helped shape me into the adult I am today.  An amazing person; was fortunate enough to see him in a community performance when I was still in northern Indiana.  My prayers go out to him, his loved ones, and family.  

I have nothing but good ol' memories of Mr. Blust.  He educated me in the art of acting, English, and Mythology.  I remember a interactive board game he invented and shared it with a few students and me.  I could go on and on of the many great things he had done to leave an impression of himself in each of our lives that he touched.
