He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda Brooks, Indianapolis, IN; one son, Steven Wooten; seven daughters, Dorothy Brooks, Sadie Brooks, Anita Daniels, Janet Harris, Carolyn Brooks-Luckett, Tracy Brooks, and Jessica Brooks; six step-children, Tina Frances, Anthony Short, Terry Watts, Tracy Short, Tonya Davis, Taquita Pleasant; three sisters, Corine Hobson, of Wisconsin, Queen Hart and Betty (L.C.) Jones, both of Memphis, TN; one brother, Pastor Eddie (Ruthie) Brooks, of Memphis, TN; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
