Born September 12, 1931 in Traders Point, Indiana, Lora passed away February 20, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lora proudly served in the US Army and fought in the Korean War as a member of the 187 Airborne Regimental Combat Team. Retiring in 1993, Lora was dutifully employed with AT&T for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lora & Gertrude Burden; brothers, George, Robert and Don Burden; sisters, Doris Carr, Wilma Scott and Audrey Reed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sylvia; daughters, Brenda Green and Leslie Kohlman; son-in-law, John Kohlman; grandchildren, Lindsay & Stephanie Green, Adam & Maggie Kohlman; grand-niece, Emily Carpenter; brother, Marion Burden; sister, Imogene Rogers; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren & St. Stephen's Church family.
