Andrew Wayne Burnell, 44 of Indianapolis died suddenly October 14, 2009. Andrew was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 15, 1964, the son of the late Ona C (Huddle) and Joel M. Burnell. He was a graduate of Pike High School Class of 1983. Andy was a Firefighter with Indianapolis Fire Department for 11 Years. He was a member of East 91st Street Christian Church and IAFF #416.
Andrew is survived by his father Joel M Burnell, Stepmother Carol Burnell, his sister, Tammy L. McClelland and his brother, Timothy J. Burnell, along with two nephews Jacob Burnell and Kyle McClelland.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday October 21, 2009 at East 91st Street Christian Church. Public visitation will be Tuesday October 20, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 pm also in the Church. Interment will be in the Heroes of Public Safety Section of Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
