Joe Robert Dixon, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012. He served in World War II-Buffalo Soldier Regiment, US Army. After retiring from National Starch, he worked at Robin Run Village. He was a member of Bethesda Temple, Phillips Temple, and Christ Church Apostolic.
He is survived by his daughters, Dr. M. Joanne Robinson, Pamela (Alfred-deceased) Davis, Sandra (Charles) Bell, DaLana (Howard) Patterson; and sons, Joseph R. Dixon and Darryl Dixon. His wife, Juanita Maxine, preceded him in death.
