James was born in North Vernon, IN on January 11, 1928, the son of the late Gilbert and Blanche Peck. He was a Corrections Officer and servced in the U.S. Army. He was the husband of Leona Peck. Funeral Services in the Peace Chapel of the Community Mausoleum of Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN, at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 14th, 2009. A public visitation will be held before hand at 10:00 am.
